Philip Holsinger | Photograph Featured in TIME Magazine
We’re thrilled to announce that Philip Holsinger, one of our extraordinary artists at Chauvet, has been featured in both TIME Magazine and CNN for his fearless photojournalism in El Salvador.
Over the past year, Holsinger has immersed himself in the country’s most guarded spaces—from high-security prisons to government offices—capturing raw, unfiltered stories that shed light on its dramatic transformation. His work challenges perceptions, reveals deep human truths, and continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
Philip Holsinger’s work is defined by his firsthand approach to storytelling, blending investigative journalism with evocative, cinematic imagery. His process is relentless—embedding himself in the worlds he documents, often at great personal risk, to capture the unvarnished reality of his subjects.
Whether photographing hardened prisoners, government operatives, or everyday civilians caught in political turmoil, Holsinger’s lens reveals raw emotion and haunting detail. His signature style—gritty, immediate, and deeply narrative—transforms his photography into a visceral experience, making his work both a visual and journalistic force.
